We are the only ones in Italy and in the Mediterranean (very few in the world) to make courses for ships envolved in social operations, using Dynamic Positioning Systems.
OSV (code)
It is the code for operations with the 'supply vessel' and it is also the basic training for all the personnel enbarked on the above mentioned units.
DP (Dinamic Position)
It is the Dynamic Positioning System, which enabled the ships to operate in every wind or sea contitions, remaining stopped in their position without the use of anchors.
The systems show all the ships's propellers( engine, fixed-blade screw propeller ,azimuthal screw e rudders),wich are steered by only a system from the navigation bridge.
The system allow to make special operations with submarine robots (ROV) with Divers, manoeuvres with special ships like Cables lay vessel, Pipe lay vessel, Dredges and Rock Dumpers.
We are the only ones to make operations in DP with 360° sight simulator class 1 and class 2 operations.
In it they are contained all the controls for the reference systems such as HPR LTW,FANBEAM,TOUTWIRE,GPS ARTEMIS,all controls of the boarding sensors and all the display of the boarding systems so that the operator can always check the position and the status of the propellers.
DP BASIC OPERATOR COURSE
The DP Basic Operator course is the first phase of the Nautical Institute (NI) DP Operator Certification Scheme. The course participants will be issued with the NI Dynamic Positioning Operator's Log Book at the end of the Basic Operator Course.

DP ADVANCED/SIMULATOR OPERATOR COURSE
The DP Advanced Operator course is the third phase of the Nautical Institute (NI) DP Operator Certification Scheme. The course will be entered into the Nautical Institute DP Operator's log book.

DP AWARENESS COURSE NON-STCW students* 4 DAYS (Nautical Institute)
(For those who do not fit into the STCW regulation, such as Ballast Control Operator, Barge Supervisor or Offshore Managers and/or other non-Certificate of Competence qualified operators or onshore and offshore personnel)
Training centres will be authorized to accept them into the induction basic course under the following conditions:
Certificate issued for this course is “DP Awareness”.
o These students cannot obtain the NI logbook after the course.
o They cannot apply for a NI DP certificate. In case they decide to obtain the STCW Certificate of Competence in future, they will have to take the Induction/ Basic course stipulated by the Nautical Institute as part of the DP scheme. I. e, they will have to start the DP training from the beginning and follow all the training sequence set up in the NI standard.

REFRESHER TRAINING COURSE FOR KEY DP PERSONNELL
DP Competency and CPD
(Course time will be planned on case by case according the Certificate of qualification)
Refresher training is a fundamental requirement for all DP personnel;
The risk of skill fade can be mitigated by periods of formal refresher training.
Structured training plans should be developed by companies to ensure that all personnel have the best preparation to respond efficiently and effectively to all anticipated normal, potential abnormal and emergency DP operations;
